Department of English Staff Contribute to the Cork Council of Trade Unions/SIPTU Reception for US Senator Bernie Sanders and Dr Jane O’Meara Sanders at Connolly Hall, Cork City
Cónal Creedon, Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing, read at the event, and Dr Heather Laird, Senior Lecturer, was advisor for the cultural component of the event. The Reception also featured contributions from poets Sarah Clancy and Fionnuala O’Connell, and music by Ricky Lynch. Izz Cafe provided the food.
